In the coming weeks we will be featuring information about one of Saskatchewan’s ‘must sees’; Prince Albert National Park. By wandering through the forest you will experience a side to our province that many have never seen.
Blow away the Saskatchewan’s bald prairie stereotype, and check out the wonder of the North!
This photo was taken while hiking along a board walked trail along the river. The area is a spruce and aspen forest, and there is moss covering the ground. Look out for birds and otters! The boardwalk even crosses the river, which is a gorgeous, tranquil spot.
There is a geocache 600m from the trailhead, which is mostly along the board walk. The rest of the 2.5km loop is not covered by a board walk.
