Scenic Saskatchewan Sunday – Aurora

The vastness of the open prairie affords us wonderful opportunities for stargazing, and on occasion, amazing views of the aurora borealis.  The photos below were taken just north of Regina in February.

When touring around the province, be on the lookout for our local furry creatures.

Just looking at an Alpaca puts a smile on your face – and  it seems that 3 out of 4 would be very interested in helping you find that geocache you are searching for.

In Rosthern is a beautiful building that was originally built as a school, the German-English Academy, in 1910.  This building served as a school until 1963, when the Rosthern Junior College was first established.

Now, the building is home to the Rosthern Mennonite Heritage Museum.  Step inside to find out more about the pioneers that settled the region.

For hours of operation and more information, please visit the museum’s webpage.
